The Marketing Sales Head will drive revenue growth through strategic marketing and sales initiatives. This role involves leading the marketing and sales teams to create and execute effective campaigns, develop strong customer relationships, and achieve the financial goals of the waterside restaurant lounge. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales, marketing, and leadership background, with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that align with the restaurant lounge’s objectives.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing and sales teams, setting clear goals and providing ongoing support.
    • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  3. Brand Management:
    • Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Develop and manage promotional campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.
  4. Sales Management:
    • Drive the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
    • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and networking.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Implement customer loyalty programs and manage feedback to improve service offerings.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Track ROI on marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  7. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use data-driven approaches to optimize marketing strategies and increase sales conversion rates.
  8. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure alignment on business objectives and customer service standards.
    • Coordinate with event planners and the culinary team to create promotional events that drive traffic and sales.
  9. Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and new technologies that can enhance marketing and sales efforts.
    • Analyze customer demographics and behaviors to tailor marketing strategies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing and sales leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, sales strategies, and brand management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and data analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the Lagos market or similar metropolitan areas.
  • Understanding of the waterside hospitality business model.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
