About the Position:

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who is passionate about supporting the organization through our most important resource – our people. The person in this role will drive People initiatives across the company, partnering with leaders and team members. This person will create and maintain processes and systems to scale the business effectively as we grow, and will have the drive to be part of the clean energy transition.

  • Location: Lagos
  • Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • Create new and maintain existing HR programs to support our people
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and act in partnership with leadership and the HR team
  • Drive HR processes and controls across the business, document and ensure compliance in all areas
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs to support employees in line with Company objectives
  • Analyze and benchmark compensation and ensure market competitiveness
  • Responsible for semi-monthly payroll
  • Assist with recruitment efforts as needed, and prepare employees for roles by establishing and conducting onboarding with a cross-functional team
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
  • Create robust training program to support the organization in growth mode
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records
  • Support innovative and value-driven culture by working with the team and leadership
  • Ensure that the People strategy aligns with business objectives
  • Act as employee relations contact
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending People policies, forms, documents and procedures
  • Conduct exit interviews and offboarding
  • Manage HR technology and systems
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and appropriate communication

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems and ability to create processes to drive efficiency
  • Familiarity with ADP and expert level with MS Office
  • Ability to self-direct, problem solve and execute with little oversight
