Indorama Eleme Fertilizer & Chemicals Limited (IEFCL) is a group company of Indorama Corporation, a global manufacturing conglomerate operating in over 25 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and North & South America.

IEFCL is one amongst the ambitious green field projects of Indorama in Nigeria and is the world’s largest single train Urea – Fertilizer plant, commissioned in June 2016. The company, a total fertilizer solution provider, is situated on 38 hectares of land in the expansive Indorama Complex, Eleme, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The Plant has a production capacity of 4000 metric tons (MT) of nitrogenous fertilizers per day or annual production capacity of 1.4 MT. The world-scale plant has been built with an investment of USD 1.5 Billion, a huge Foreign Direct Investment, funded by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and a consortium of 15 European & African Banks and financial institutions.

1. Accounts Officer

Requirements

• Professional Qualification & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounts / related fields. Candidates with Professional certificates in ACCA or ICAN, excellent knowledge in MS Office, Team work with ability of multi-tasking, good commercial communication skills shall have an added advantage.
• Experience & expertise: 8 – 10 years with knowledge and experience of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc), accounting, budgeting, cost control activities, material and service invoice processing, vendor master creation, vendor accounts reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month end closing, review of creditors / advances, expense provisions etc.  candidate should have knowledge of Nigerian Tax Laws – CITA, VAT, WHT etc
• Candidates with experience in manufacturing sector and having experience of managing sales accounts shall be given preference.

2. Diploma Engineer Internship Program

Details, Professional Qualification & Skills

• Eligibility: National Diploma / Equivalent from Federal Polytechnics and Technical Education Institutes
• Disciplines: Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Petroleum & Petrochemical.
• Year of Passing: 2018, 2019 & 2020 shall be preferred.
• All the eligible candidates will be subjected to two stage selection process – Written Test (Technical & Aptitude) and Personal Interview or certificate upon completion of internship program.
• Candidates who pass through both stages will be eligible for training.
• Absorption into the regular rolls of the company will be based on the successful completion of the internship program and availability of vacancy in the organization.
• All successful candidates shall be eligible for certificate upon completion of internship program.
