Qualifications

Job Summary
The quality assurance personnel will ensure that all fieldwork and other data collection related activities are being carried out according to the requirement of the program’s strategy.
Will conduct back checks on field work done and report to an assigned Manager and painstakingly pinpoint all the things that were either done rightly or wrongly by other field staff, as well as providing important feedback on programs field activities.
Job Details
- Ensuring accurate and timely capturing and compiling of Quality reports, ensure accurate feedback on Quality is given to the Field team, monitoring and ensuring 100% data quality is delivered.
Key Outcomes
- Ensure effective and efficient workflow of field staff.
- Support field manager in ensuring optimum productivity and development of Quality during activity.
- Sustain key operational processes and systems to ensure the smooth running of activities at every point.
- Control planning and ensure Quality standards are met within the given timeline.
- Direct completion of quality reports, interviewer reports and project status reports.
- Assist with the implementation of new innovations, procedures and processes.
- Liaise with Field teams, Project teams, Support team and the Quality team
- Ensure field trips and pilots are conducted according to standard.

Capabilities:
- Holds minimum Bachelor’s degree from well recognized University.

- Proficiency in the use of relevant computer packages.

- Exposure to fieldwork systems and knowledge of Field Processes.
- Exposure to & knowledge of questionnaire administration and sampling.
- Minimum of 1 year research operations experience in the state.
- Knowledge and use of CAPI data collection platforms such as STG / NIPO / DIMENSION.

3. Qualitative Research Moderators
- Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary
The moderators will be responsible for collecting qualitative data via focus group discussions and in-depth interviews from study subjects while maintaining confidentiality of participants and the information collected, including interview notes and audio recordings.
Responsibilities
- Carry out primary data collection using discussion guides.
- Audio-record the discussions and take notes.
- Participate in immediate debrief with lead qualitative researchers, and create expanded notes in English immediately after each focus group and/or in-depth interview using provided tool.
- Adhere strictly to study protocols, ethical research principles, and administrative requirements.
- Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.
- Maintain close communication with the study manager and lead qualitative researcher by phone and email to discuss any issues and ensure adherence to the project plan.
- Hand over digital recordings and written transcription files to study manager/supervisor as soon as possible.
- Label files by the agreed upon naming conventions.
- Work collaboratively with study team members.
- Manage data collection by meeting deadlines and reaching agreed upon targets.
- Keeps log of daily activities and submit report at the end.
Deliverables:
- Hard copies of original interview notes and soft copies of the expanded notes.
- Participation logs for each focus group and interview completed.
- Audio recordings of the interviews and focus group discussions following the file naming convention.
Required Qualifications
- Experience conducting qualitative in-depth interviews and focus group discussions facilitation.
- Understanding of the socio-cultural context/terrain of the state you want to work in.
- Degree in health, social sciences, education, community health or development-related field.
- Organization skills (for keeping data files organized).

Job Summary
The Enumerators will carry out fieldwork and other data collection related activities, which will be required for the program’s strategy.
The Enumerators, working under the supervision of an assigned Manager will be responsible for administering quantitative research and data collection related protocol, as well as providing important feedback on programs field activities.
Job Description
- Conduct surveys on specified subjects’ matters.
- Identify key informants within the subject areas.
- Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
- Compile and sort the filled data collection tools as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure collected data is accurately recorded.
- Capture data using digital data entry technology provided.
- Ensure anonymity of respondents and develop relationship of trust and safe space during data collection exercise with respondents.
- Identify and report any challenges faced that could affect the quality of the data.
- Take responsibility for project equipment that you may be entrusted with.
- Present the data to the supervisor at the end of each day.
- Report to the supervisor before and after day’s work for further direction.
- Ensure handling in all the completed household visits and questionnaires for the day to the supervisor.
- Report the number of surveys collected and any unusual situations to the team leader on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all questionnaires and electronic data collection equipment are accounted for.

Preferred qualifications
- Have a Degree in the fields of Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics or Development Studies.
- Have a proven work experience of at least three (3) years in quantitative data collection.
- Experience in data collection, administering questionnaires and conducting interviews, data collection and data entry.
- Experience in interpreting and recording responses appropriately without distorting the respondent or confusing the reader.
- Proven work experience in multicultural and stressful environments.
