Your first month in a new role
How to learn the job without pretending you already know it.
Ask how the team prefers to communicate, and what “done” looks like for your first task. Write it down.
Introduce yourself to the people your work depends on. Learn their names and what they own.
Keep a private note of questions and answers. After two weeks, you should be able to explain the process you joined in plain language.
If something is unclear, ask once you have tried to find the answer. Bring a suggestion, not only a problem.
